I am a current graphic design student at the University of Cincinnati. A who loves typography and branding, with a curiosity for how design connects with people.

Work
Typographic poster series highlighting activist poets. Each poster interprets a poet’s work while inviting viewers to attend the event series.
Communicating subversion (to raise, intentional disruption, changing conventions) in which the poets did with their individual works.
Researched different typefaces that showed the Midwest and Ohio, since all of these poets were based in Ohio at some point.
Design elements consist of sticking to a bold yet nostalgic red with fragmentation and separation to disconnect the viewer, making them yearn for that connection.
